Subject: USC-STC List of UAS Training Service Providers – Winter 2015

Responding to the growth of the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) sector and with increasing inquiries from our membership, Unmanned Systems Canada – Systèmes Télécommandés Canada (USC-STC) has identified a number of Canadian sources to provide UAS pilot and maintainer training.

As our industry grows, proper training is essential to maintain the level of safety and customer satisfaction that are required. This list, the first of its kind, will hopefully be a useful information resource for our membership.

We also realize that this market space is growing rapidly. For this reason, we will be reaching out to the training sector again in the early summer of this year to develop an update of this list. With access to this resource it is anticipated that UAS pilots and maintainers will be able to develop and maintain their skills required to advance UAS in Canada. This initiative confirms the association’s commitment to education and safety and to provide relevant information to promote commercial success in our sector.

Unmanned Systems Canada is the focal point for unmanned vehicle systems in Canada. We are a Canadian-registered not-for-profit association with over 500 members, representing the interests of the UVS community.
